She looks very familiar, but I don't know her name. However, the major looks somewhat like Chuck Yeager. The blog didn't give a name for either of them.

Incredible photos!!! Thank you for the Blast from the past. The last pic with the caption "Maintenance robot for the USAF nuclear powered bomber that was fortunately never built" reminded me of the time our scout master told the story of "Flight 369" one late at night around a campfire. It was about a nuclear powered bomber that flew forever after a radiation leak, manned by a crew of zombie skeletons! The whole troop was shaking in their boots :)
