just wanna throw this out there... i watch ebay all the time and right now there are an unusually high number of great oop kits and lots being sold, including two different estes orbital transports! i have no investment in any of these items, just love the hobby.
Also Ebay item prices are often seasonally affected and rocket stuff is now somewhat off-season so there should be some deals out there imo.
Also another trick is for any items that aren't auction that you're interested but not in a rush for, you can add it to your Watch list and sometimes the seller will get a push from ebay to send reduced price offers to watchers and do so.
