Does anyone know anything about these launch pads? I've seen them several times on e-bay, and wondered if they were any good.

Regards,
Todd

The SMI (Canaroc) pads are the old MPC pads. I have both two MPC pads and an SMI pad. They are not bad, certainly better than that flimsy Quest thing, nut they are not quite as stable or strong as an ESTES porta pad II. If you are staying with low paower rockets, you should not have much trouble with it.

BTW that funny thing sticking up is supposed to be a wind indicator!!

Thanks for the info Astron :) Perhaps I'll just stick with my Estes pad for now. I did notice the wind indicator, and thought that was kinda silly. The wind next to the ground is not always indicative of that several feet up.

Regards,
Todd
