Good morning gents,

just started painting a small project. Since I started rocketry in may using some models for video footage with the guys from the battle of britain model squadron I decided to go a bit more scale and built a small Era correct "SAM", the Wasserfall. A german Surface to Air Missile from late war.
Heres the actual build state. I should have used 50mm Bodytube since this thing is darn small :) Well... Next time :D

construction and build ready to paint...

Nice model, but I feel obligated to point out that the photo that you based the paint on is an American Hermes A-1. Notice that the forward "Wings" in the photo are clipped compared to the drawing.

Scale modeling can be tricky!

Thats correct as athe americans built the Hermes as a replica. I chose that paint because of the better visibility (and I like it more ;) )
Did not notice the clipped wings though. As this is just a test whether te rocket flies or not thats perfectly fine for me.
Thank you for the heads up :) Wont clip my wings :D
