Obviously your mileage may vary, but:
My Estes Mega Mosquito (painted per box scheme with Rusto "Professional" enamel) was looking pretty nasty - ejection soot on the yellow.
I tried damp paper towel and it did nothing. Tried Simple Green on an inconspicuous spot and it didn't seem to harm the paint so...
IT WORKS SO WELL. Rocket looks freshly painted.
Obviously different paints may not be so forgiving, but I'm pleased with the results.
