hey Bruce, I have been stewing for a few days about how to make a rocksim file for the Estes Renegade... this article is just what I needed!

I know you say at the end of the article "this simulation work
is only a theoretical approximation" yadda yadda yadda... but how close is it really?

Great Stuff! Have only skimmed it so far, but it looks to be exactly what I've been needing for a few designs I've been messing with. Planning to go through it in detail this weekend.

Definitely not too much math, geometry, or program bending. I like!

Teflon,

Finally worked through this today and used it to fix a design I've been working on. Keep 'em coming...your articles are a big help!

I had a project for which I was going to use the side-pod technique, but the project evolved into a giant in-airframe cluster before I got around to working through the article.

One of these days I'll sim something particularly snazzy with side pod boosters, like an Ariane V or Astrobee 1500, and I'll use it basically as an excuse to learn more about RockSim.
