Sharpies/markers for fine detailing

I noticed that Sharpie Metallic markers go on nice and thick without running. Works great on plastic.
Regular sharpies not so much, the color is more translucent.

Is the Sharpie Silver Metallic, is that a paint marker? I'd like to get more colors, like red, blue etc. Do I get oil based or water based? Since I do this in the house, I cannot have stinky marker pens.

I don't spray paint rockets due to fumes. I prefer papering with color paper.

What do people recommend for markers for paper and polystyrene?

Sharpie now has paint markers in various colors that work great. I have a couple of black and white ones for detail.

I have a white paint marker and black finger nail polish. Both good for touch ups.

They're great for gliders because you can ad color without adding the weight of paint.
