After reading the low-power thread entitled, "Attack of the Clones," I just
had to get this out of my head.

<b>Send in the Clones</b>
Sung to the tune
<a href="https://members.tripod.com/~f_fly/clowns.mid"><i>Send in the Clowns</i></a>.

Cherokee-D,
Estes Corsair,
Me here aghast on the ground,
Sprint in mid-air.
Send in the clones.

Midget and Streak,
Some time ago.
Swifts would be gliding around,
We’d all say, “Whoa!”
Where are the clones?
Send in the clones.

Starship Vega made your mouth drool,
Finally knowing the prices they fetch is too cruel.
Wishing they’d make them again, I would buy one I swear.
Checked all the stores.
Ain’t any there.

Bomarc is gone,
As is Camroc,
I know that you want what I want,
A new Transroc.
But where are the clones?
Quick, send in the clones.
I want a Gyroc.

Oribital Trans.
Little Joe II,
Demon, Cloud Hopper, Sky Dart,
Mars Lander too,
And where are the clones?
There ought to be clones.
I’ll build me one too.

very funny!! now that tune is stuck in my head.

:)

however,

"Puberty Love", the whiny, bubblegum ballad that eventually drives the Killer Tomatoes to distraction, launched the career of Matt 'Foo' Cameron. The Junior High schooler went on to fame and glory as the drummer for super-groups Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.

As far as can be determined, Pearl Jam has no immediate plans for an acid rock remake of "Puberty Love".
