    (Am I the first?)

Here is my Semroc Vega. I had another little problem with cracking paint so I sanded it down and hand painted a "bird" over it.

Welcome to the Semroc Vega (KB-5) Gallery on TRF.

This gallery showcases the Semroc Vega (KB-5) and those rockets derived from it. Particularly appropriate in this thread are the following:

    Semroc: Vega: KB-5
    Semroc: Vega: KV-25

as well as any upscales, downscales, clones, kitbashes or other derivative works. Even Goonies qualify!

Here's a rocket that doesn't get the love it deserves. Developed and marketed by Semroc in the late 60's to fit in the same class as, and compete for sales against Estes Big Bertha. This model gets over-looked—and it shouldn't. I think it's a better, lighter, more attractive model.

Here's mine with some other builds. Unlike foamy's exemplary build, I couldn't mask well enough on the fins so painted them solid red:

Here is my Vega being launched by my son and trusty launch assistant. We pretty much wore this one out, but I have another new in bag when I get around to building it.
