I had this as a kid. It was my first land shark. It actually looked pretty cool, scooting along on its pseudo-wheels, then smoking,then popping the chute. Fortunately the launch area was pretty much all gravel, so no fires.
 
My greatest memory of Evel when I was (much) younger was wishing Harley made the XR-750 as a road bike. #sweetdreamsaremadeofthis



Love him or hate him there was no denying that the man was a true dare devil and showman. He was a one man "X-Games" before "X-Games" were even a thing.
