I got the Brighton during the Semroc Christmas Sale.

I think Carl challenged himself to see if he could use one of each Semroc part number in a kit. :D

It's a great quality, easy to build kit. I used all epoxy on this one. Paint will happen when the weather breaks.

I don't see anything except the red x and a file name. WHen I click it, though, the pic comes up and the rest of the page is blacked out until I click the close button.

I'm using IE, FWIW

I'm using Firefox. I get a link that says click to view larger image (but no image) and when I click it, I get an error and no pic.

I still see them fine. I'm using Firefox 3.05 and Ubuntu 8.10. I click and the Forum fades to dark and the image appears in the center. PHP script that I've seen on other Forums
Here is a screenshot

This looks like a great kit; I've been collecting parts for an upscale Ranger / Bertha, and this fits the bill on both counts! It is great having birds that have a variety of motor combos, like this and the SLS Laser-X. With basswood TTW fins, this ought to easily handle F motors. What paint scheme are you planning? And when will these go off back-order?

The manual reccomends up to an H97!

I plan on doing this:

Well I got my Brighton pretty much knocked out. Very nice kit that is a typical high quality product from Semroc. It would be better if you just purchased the motor mounts that you wanted, but I guess it's cool having them all. I'm going to pick one of the classic schemes, just not sure which one yet.

Looking good John. I'm still on weather (and decal) hold with the paint.

All finished! I used Rustoleum Metallic on the bottom half, and Valspar on the top.

Ok Boosterdude, you shamed me into finishing mine. In fact, I like it so much, I downscaled it. ;)

Your Brighton looks awesome, very nice looking build.

I finished up my Brighton based on an early Estes catalog. It was not in color so I went with red. It had flown earlier on three D12-5 motors before the final coat of paint and striping.
Almost went scarlet and gray to match the Ohio State gnome that my daughter gave me for Christmas.

Just wanted to give all the Brighton owners a heads-up. The one flight that I have on mine was with three D12-5s and the motor mount ejected. It was recovered. I thought that maybe I should have taped the motor hook in place against the mount. It appears that this is not an isolated case and Carl at SEMROC is looking at resolving the problem.
I will try taping the motor hook against the motor mount and friction fit it better for the next flight. May just bite the bullet and glue it in. Also considered using two 5 second delays and one 7 second to stagger the ejections a little.
Still a fun build and a great flyer!

Thanks for the kudo Indiana. I looked at the finish that you chose, but didn't want to mess with trying to make decals. Good Job!
