"A minor earthquake hit New Hampshire early Tuesday afternoon. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was a magnitude 2.2, and centered 15 miles west of Concord, in the Henniker-Hopkinton area. Officials say no one was hurt and no damage was reported."

WZID

Hey Jim Flis, were you up there with a Richter Recker yesterday:eek:
Bob

LOL I was thinking "ok, what sort of Richter Recker joke can I put in here..."

Then I saw YOU had already MADE the joke! ROTFLMAO

We have an earthquake about once every 2-3 years. I've only felt two of them, and didn't even KNOW about this one.... wild!

So, then, the big question is...

...if is wasn't me, then who WAS flying the Richter Recker??? :p

Not me.... my RR is not built yet :(. Maybe that is a foreshadow for things to come (after I build my RR ;))

May have been someone doing something devious with one of those new cluster mounts. :D

I recall Anchorage, AK getting quakes. I had never experienced them before moving there. I had nightmares afterwards of the ground breaking open and me falling in. :(

Only 2.2? Sheesh. Here in California, the USGS doesn't even
report it to the media unless it is above 3.0.

I recall one night sitting up in bed reading "The Legend of Hell House". At
the point in the story where the ghosts are attacking the visitors to the
house, the book describes objects being thrown at the visitors. Then
my room starts shaking because of an actual earthquake. Pretty freaky.
