On Oct 31 we took a massive lightning strike at work where my brand new servers got damaged and fried, phone system fried, modems dead, signage dead, switches damaged, etc, and also was auction week last at school. On top of that my consultant I flew in developed a problem and I had to take him to the hospital last Tuesday which resulted on him being out of the count and had surgery last Thursday. Thankfully his son was able to come in and take care of his medical needs so I could get back to work. Bottom line is I been unusually over busy for this time of the year. I will attempt to get a list of people who signed up so far up as soon as possible. Working on getting more donations for the Papa Elf special so if you want to contribute let me know. So far there will be one big prize like I always do and another vendor has donated a couple discount codes. I have to admit, I really like this vendors products. So this year there will be a few names drawn :).

Finally, due to recent facebook postings from Aerotech, I want to add their new Mega Initiator to my wish list :). Thank you all for your participation :)

Damn, man! I hope things turn for the better for you. How's the consultant doing?
 
I believe we're all understanding, and can accept an "orthodox" Christmas (pushing it back 2-3 weeks)

Do what you need to.. take the time you need..
 
I still plan to keep this event on schedule :). The consultant's surgery went well although it will take 6-12 months for him to get back to normal. He is planning to come in today but mostly to go over paper work. Most of the repairs are done.
 
Finally got my email in. Been trying to get a list together and decide whether or not I was gonna be able to participate this year. I have had to drop out at the last minute before, maybe not this year. Prices all over the board.

A tinge of doubt has come across my mind:

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up. It's also a Friday, and most Black-Friday sales will start tomorrow. And, i believe I've used my work -e-mail address to communicate, so I may not get my recipient until Monday morning..

Was there an exact cut-off time? Any chance we can get our recipients by 4:00PM EST?
