~1/70th scale Falcon Heavy

3d printed nose cones, transition, aft end connector, and half the conduits/raceways based on scottdee thingiverse files), after getting help from eRockets build night folks (Mark, Jay B, Phil Q, Randy B) to upscale the design files.

Scale factor to apply to scottdee thingiverse design is: 155.885%

Body tubes from eRockets. 2" mailing tubes from local Meijer would work as well, but are heavier and have bigger spiral to fill.

Boyce Aerospace custom-scaled grid fins, landing legs, and display nozzles. I could not get the landing legs to lay flat, without either a) cutting the legs in half or b) sanding the underside so much that some of the webbing would be removed. Opted for a). Did not bother contacting Boyce about this, as looks fine for my purposes.

Evergreen polystyrene for remainder of conduits/raceways and other detail parts. Obtainable from local hobby shop, in train section.

Layout of decals/details based on axmspacemodels falcon heavy.

The combination of ScottDee/thingiverse and Boyce Aerospace 3d printed parts, meant the landing legs wouldn't fit completely, so i had to shave a portion of a tong from a few of the landing legs to make landing legs fit. (I was too lazy to create the 50 landing leg lock detail pieces. There is already 150 decals/detail pieces on this.)

Decals based off axmspacemodels falcon heavy, upscaled and fine tuned in Inkscape, and printed using laser printer

Primer, paint, clear coat are all Duplicolor rattle can. Seems like white Duplicolor rattle can paint from rattle can should have best chance of not yellowing, as people whom applied to their much more expensive vehicle would be upset about yellowing.

1/16" polycarbonate temporary fins, held together for launch by melted glue gun glue, then removed for display purposes. Purchased off eBay.

:goodjob: :bravo:I bet you have 500 hours in this, between building it, taking pictures, and putting the video together. Thanks. Have you done a McDonnell Douglas Delta II before? I've looked all over for the decals. I was gifted an old scratch built rocket and recently did a restoration of it. I need decals and the 8 booster nozzles to finish it.

I think south of 100 hours, maybe even south of 40 hours. Videos are quick to make. I just take a picture of each step, and then jam all the photos into a video regardless of flow/etc.
