Scratch built a prototype of a ~1/70th Falcon 9, with 24mm motor mount.
Prototyped to test whether friction fit fins would work. Test was successful. Launched on Estes E9, and friction fit fins did not let go. Did have to shim one of the fin slots with a few layers of paper to get tight fit.
Apparently i do not have photo of the finished prototype, but whatever.
The follow-on display-worthy build has gotten to the decal stage.
