I am currently looking for an easy build flying saucer kit.
You might try this one.
Have you heard of the Art Applewhite kits?
he has some free PDF plans also:
I made his Scout themed Qubits, great 13mm power fliers.
not really a saucer, but a shroud/glider type rocket:
Estes Blenders: http://www.erockets.biz/estes-flying-model-rocket-kit-blenders-3233-oop/
Satellite Killer: https://www.apogeerockets.com/Rocke...llite-Killer?zenid=9se9jsbgjn4g0l3dt9gu550i06
This is the saucer I built in 2003. All dimensions are based on the motor tube OD.
I built 24, 54, and 98 mm versions
And a video of the 98mm version on an Rx N800
Twin Factor. Two stage mini engine powered saucers. Too (Two) much fun.
Art Applewhite's Delta Flying Saucer is a classic, but also look around for small spools as they make great odd rockets!
One more to add from Semroc/erockets:
I went to art applewhite's site nothing is there any more . Except the stealth in 18 and 24 . I never ordered anything from him
You have to click on the free stuff link on that page . That will take you to another page with LOTS of free plans.
Or go to the Rocket Garden and order his kits.
The rocketry garden goes back to his site . Only the free stuff is there
Not when I just went there. Like one minute ago:
Thanks it didn't work for me . I see them now
Great video! Do you have any Pictures of those saucers? Plans? Kits?
The dimensions of the saucer are the first pic in the post with the video.
These are the 98mm on the N800
The 54mm with a Rx K160
Separate names with a comma.
