An awesome, gargantuan effort... and this was "just" the propulsion side. Not the least of which is the custom tooling, jigs, custom test monitoring electronics, huge facilities, etc., etc., etc. These are also on the excellent DVD set, The Mighty Saturns - Saturn V, which is where the videos on YouTube must have come from since the filmed reports were in terrible condition and not the restored condition seen in these videos:

Anyone have any proposed tech info on the never implemented S-III stage?

Also, in the Saturn status reports linked to in this thread, a growl is heard at engine cutoffs. Is that the sound of a short-duration combustion instability oscillation as fuel and oxidizer is cut off, the chamber pressure drops and the fuel/oxidizer ratio might diverge from optimum? Also, perhaps some fuel/oxidizer supply oscillations in the associated piping?
