Nice kit.! you probably don't want to do too much extra to the
O.T......Be sure to post some pics if you can.

    rbecky,

Just a few things ya could do if ya wanna.

Order some balsa nose cones from Balsa Machining services.

    a BNC-50y for the booster
a BNC 20b for the orbiter

I think Balsa Machining Services even has a laser cut (frigin' laser cut!) set of fins for $7.00.

Or contact JimZ and get a set of decals in a different color...maybe purple or green.

Or leave it "stock", it's a fine model "stock".

    rbeckey,

Don't start building it yet...Our local club HUVARS

    http://www-personal.umich.edu/~hsaulles/

is having an Orbital Transport kitbashing session in January.

Maybe we can have some really cool ideas thrown around for modifications and additions to the OT.

I got an OT this morning for $3.50. At my local Hobby Lobby, the sticker price was $6.99. They were not on the rack with the other rockets, so I was lucky to find them.

I'm finishing the one I got several weeks ago. I'm considering upsizing it next and wonder what's the largest OT anyone has seen fly (successfully!)? A booster based on a 2.6" tube would be almost 5 feet long!
