now i feel dumb. i sanded my fliskits cheetah (purchased at naram) primed it sanded it primed it again sanded again but i was stupid and missed a long streak and didnt sand it (i was using kilz and it gets really bumpy) then painted it now its rough on one side. so am i able to sand off something thats already been painted and paint over it again. if not i'll live but id like to know.

Yes, once the paint has completely dried, you can sand it smooth and repaint.

But do make sure you let it dry well and completely. If you try to sand it and it's still wet underneath, it'll come off in little rolly snakey boogers and leave uneven pits in the paint that are tough to sand out later.

its ok. i'll post pics eventually but righ now im to lazy:D
 
I have had this happen myself. I follow the below carefully scripted procedure:

1) Get mad and swear for a while

2) Put the rocket away for a month or so because I am disgusted with myself.

3) Now that the paint is all dry, (and I am over my funk) I sand, and re-paint.

An alternative step 2: punish the thing by stuffing the bigest motor you can in it and if it is not lost, proceed with step 3.
