RS7 & Conical rockets

OK, basic question. Back in RS5, centering rings were owned by the inner tube, so if you designed all conical transition for your rocket, stuck a MMT in it, the MMT could 'own' CR's between the MMT and the transition.

However, in RS6, and now my RS7, CR's can only be inside the owning tube, and for an all transition rocket, there ain't one.

Any help? Any sample files?

I assign the centering rings to the inside tube. Be sure to uncheck Auto size known dimensions and type in the outer diameter of the inside tube as the inner diameter of the centering ring and then enter the inner diameter of the cone a the point where you want the centering ring to be.
