RRC3 fault

I'm testing a new rrc3 on my workbench and I'm getting some unusual sounds on powerup. It starts with the expected long beep followed by 10 sec of silence. But then I get 5 beeps, a "chirp", 1 beep, then a final "chirp". After that I get the expected beeps indicating that nothing is hooked up for the apogee and main deployment charges. Looking at the diagnostic page shows the expected voltage for the battery, a temperature reading, the expected lack of continuity for the deployment charges but no activity on the barometric section. Is that because it is sitting on my bench? I had a previous rrc3 so am familar with the expected sounds but I have never heard this sequence of beeps and chirps. Any ideas?

sounds like it is in a diagnostic mode changing attached connections or pushing the buttons will probably change the beep pattern.
