Found this poking around. Just scanning through it, it has good histories, and some nice photos/drawings. The book is available for download in several formats, or may be read on-line.

Now this is an interesting two-stage rocket... actually I guess that is 3-stage - Balloon, boosters, sustainer... EDIT: Actually 4 stage according to text and that does not count the balloon.

In any case, the rocket itself is pretty interesting looking and might be worth building....4 engines > 1 > 4 > 1 (now that is a multi-stage cluster test if I ever heard one)

If you haven't been, the National Museum of the USAF is fantastic. I was served two tours of duty at Wright-Patt and went there countless times. If you ate ever in the area or trabelling near it, I highly recommend a bisit.
