Rocketry sold out.

After a seven year hiatus from rocketry, I ordered my first kit, the Estes big daddy rocket kit, because why not.
Anyway, while researching rocket related products, I noticed a lot of items sold out, is it because of supply and demand or price or is it something else? I thought with all the recent space related events there would be more interest in model rocketry. What are your thoughts on this?

Sold out is good news for the vendor... on Christmas Day.

I actually bought components for my 4 stage Saturn V MPR rocket, and didn't find anything out of stock.
