Since I finished pure potassium nitrate and I can not run my little rocket Saturn XII has just two days to construct something because on Sunday the wind will be suitable. I only got a big engine. It should be Saturn XIII but you know what happened to Apollo 13 for this will be Saturn XIV.
P.S. Level XYZ because I do not know nor any Bulgarian to deal with rockets nor any organization for rockets I learned to build rockets on the site of Richard Nakka -programs SRM and ezalt.I was for a while a member of a Russian forum because of the similarity in languages but was banned permanently because I had the stupidity to say that I do not like Stalin and He was а dictator. Naturally not in rocket forum in forum for policy but received a ban by the administrator of the whole site.

How long is the rocket? Each himself decided. To me it is crucial to accommodate the caption Saturn XIV:)

Aluminum. I cut it from some old signs on the door. Weight difference of less than 1 gram. Not bad for 5 minutes work :)Now go to sleep, tomorrow recovery system Chinese umbrella for $ 2, very strong, not as umbrellas, their mechanisms break for a week, but as parachutes are very healthy:)

These tubes are for the ejection charge of the parachute and strengthen rocket. Around the small aluminum is rolled paper enters tightly into the small pvc still paper in large PVC pipe back paper and tape and came close to Saturn XIV.The ejection charge is strong, the parachute must be discarded at any cost. Moreover beats at the opening of the parachute can also be strong. The rocket does not need to be disconnected from it:)

The rocket is almost ready. It could've been much lighter but is short and has to balance the heavy engine to fly stable. Moreover, it is for pleasure not for records. Weight in grams and in some unknown entity Oz.Details of the engine will not give - thick aluminum tube with fuel potassium nitrate and sugar. I'm going to load it.

Rocket plus parachute plus nose plus cape thing about 100 g 2.9 kg or 6.3 lb. Fuel 600 grams, impulse engine about 400-450 N.S.. Altitude of about 800 meters or 2600 ft, time to reach about 13 seconds.

Ready to start.I think I'll start today but outside is 35 degrees Celsius or 95 Fahrenheit. Maybe after a few hours.

I tested the rocket. Fully experimental ,engine, fuel анд design. The critical section of the nozzle must be reduced. In the beginning there was little traction. As a consequence, the rocket is tilted. Consequently, it did not reach the specified altitude. Parachute opened at high speed and half its ropes are ripped. However parachute slowed the rocket enough and is healthy. By contrast, fell into the tall grasses and shrubs and is lost. The location was chosen because of safety without people in the theoretical horisontal flight. Stability also was not particularly good. With 3 fins do not go :) In short, if you've found the next flight and would be perfect. All flaws are easily removable. But do not be bothered to investigate this slow-burning fuel where SRM does not work. Next week will receive pure potassium nitrate and then Saturn XII will fly faster than sound hopefully without being detached fins:)

The place of landing:

Before very sorry for the loss of each rocket. Now I do not care. I'll do a lot more :)

Yes, all the fields around the village are dotted with rockets :) But do not regret. After adjusting the structure rocket began to fly exactly the same. Completely uninteresting, I have such a Cobra-4 then 5 successful flight, I've started no more and even delete disassembled. It was greater than Saturn XIV 3.5 kg and longer.

P.S.The interesting Saturn XIV was that I lost sight and sound only realized what had happened. First loud sound of the opening parachute. Then the sound of the fall but no free fall with a characteristic sound, and much more slowly, from falling rocket with half torn ropes of the parachute.Maybe in the fall when the grass dies will find her :) And we will see Onboard video:)
P.P.S.A desert would be very welcome here but unfortunately there were no_Or GPS system:)But even if there was a system in this tall grass at the snakes would not have entered because of a rocket. SaturnV is much more valuable than a rocket :)
