I just had an accessory added to my fuel oil tank...
...a Rocket...
(see attached pix)
It's a fuel gauge. It's a sonar (i believe) device that attaches to the top of the tank, bounces a signal off of the surface of the oil, records the echo and calculates the amount of fuel. It then radio's the result to a very small plug in unit that you can have anywhere in your house (about the size of one of those air freshener plug-ins).
It's actually quite kewl and also a comfort as we've had our fuel tank run dry twice in the past year. Our tank isn't easily reached so this is great.
I was curious about other non-rocketry related products out there have the word/name "rocket" in their name. I gotta believe there are a bunch. Most anything that's supposed to be fast, powerful or "out there" could use an infusion of the imagery that "rocket" brings to mind
Any others out there?
