very Patriotic. could make the short hand in the outline of a fin can, and the long hand the outline of a body and nose...it will be launch time twice a day.

You know that's a cool idea. I have some train clocks that make choo choo sounds on the hour...why couldn't actual launch sounds be incorporated on the hour?

If you don’t want to split the rocket, just make the long hand the rocket and the short hand the smoke trail, not sure if that will make the clock too gimmicky, kind of classy the way it is already.
