Rocketry of Orlando's Community Kids
On Saturday April 5th 2008 ROCK Section #622 will hold a NAR sanctioned Open Meet. The meet will be held at our club's monthly launch at Little-Big-Econ State Forest on Country Road 426 in Oviedo. See our club website https://www.r-o-c-k.org/ for the location and directions. The meet will begin at 10 am and will continue until around 3 or 4 pm. There is no fee to enter the contest but you will be responsible for the usual club launch fee of 1.00 for ROCK members or 5.00 for non-members. All of the events may also be flown by non NAR members, only NAR members will be awarded contest points. The events being flown are:
A Helicopter Duration
A Streamer Duration
Spot Landing
Set Duration (50 seconds)
Advance registration would be appreciated, just send a reply to [email protected] with a yes, no or maybe. Also, please direct any questions to Russ Mozier, the Contest Director, at the same email address.
