ROCI will be opening it's 2017 launch season with a sports launch at the AMA in Muncie. 11AM to 5PM. No high power launches this time out. All are welcome. No launch fees or membership required. Bring your boots, as the low spot in the field is expected to be under water.

Lee Berry of Merlin Missiles fame will be our vendor with Aerotech motors, Estes and some Quest motors, rocket kits and other paraphernalia for the rocketry hobbyist crowd. Don't believe we will have a food vendor.

First launch of the season under our belt. Waiver came through at the last minute. Weather did not cooperate. Rain that was promised all week did not appear, but wind was around 18mph and we decided to keep the larger rockets on the ground. Launched a few smaller rockets. A few new members and a few old members came out. Anything with a chute went for a ride, although one launched with a JL chute release stayed within a reasonable distance. Attached is a shot of Luke's Aura on an F42, although not a very good picture. Just proof that we were indeed there. It was a beautiful day, even with the wind.
