i picked up about 50yds of assorted weights and colors on ebay.
flame retardant, uv protected...

should be just the thing for chutes!
only spent 90 bux after shipping, so i saved a bundle over retail!
 
I could get by...
but my wife is the seamstress-type in the house. i'm going to have her work the machine, i'll cut the patterns...buy the materials, etc.

now that you mention it... I'm just remembering I have a surplus US Army cargo chute canopy in storage... 30' standard dome chute... picked it up for 15 bucks at a surplus store years ago... bet i could get a bunch of rocket chutes out of it... as long as i dont mind OD green...lol

i got it yesterday, just went through it and there's about 80 yds of fabric here.

only one scrap of white...
it should suffice.
you can see the gores for my 1.5m chute in the foreground.
