I am embarrassed to say that I have watched a lot of Match Game in my life. Sorry to see you go, Patti.

I just got back to work after a long stretch and watched way too much Match Game during that time. I enjoyed Patti's off-beat humor and wondered what else she had done. I recognized her on Laugh-In and probably saw her in a few other things in her later years but didn't notice it was her. She came out of The ACE Trucking Company comedy troupe.

She was unique, and not just like everyone else.

I always thought she had an odd voice. Beautiful hair too!

She was known for "impersonating" Howard Cosell's mother on Rowan and Martin's Laugh In.

"Howie, Howie, Howie..."

Guess I've really dated myself with that factoid. I am in fact truly old.

Her humor was a little different, which is why I liked her. Love the beautiful hair. I think she was a writer for a couple of comedy shows.
