This is sad news... I've always loved the music of Fleetwood Mac, and she was a major part of it.

Thanks for the music, and the memories.

I think in many ways she kind of flew under the radar among the 3 lead singer/songwriters in the band, but her body of work is really great, and always a great contrast to the others.

I still rank "Fleetwood Mac" and "Rumors" as one of the greatest pairs of back-to-back albums in rock history. Both are perfect all the way through.

I remember seeing them in concert late-70's, they were phenomenal. Everybody always thought of Stevie Nicks as the lead female singer, but I think Christine McVie had a better voice. She certainly had more range... I think her voice was better for harmonizing than Stevie's.
