Repair Gelcoat on Nose Cone

I am planning to repair an old nose cone that has a dime size hole in the gelcoat. I found a thread showing a method of repairing it: https://www.rocketryforum.com/showthread.php?119874-Repair-of-a-Wildman-Extreme-gelcoat-nosecone. Anybody else have a technique?

The one time I fixed mine (I only have that one), I just used Superfil and then sanded it smooth.

+1 to this. That is how I have done it as well.

I've done it with Bondo and sanded it smooth.
