do parasheets work better when theres a hole in the middle i sought of discovered this and wonder if this is true i thought maybe it stops air ripping through the parasheet making it spin:mad: :p :p :confused: :eek:

No it does not . Cutting the circle out of the top of a parachute just makes the rocket come down quicker. Hope this helps

Although the rocket does come down more quickly, this in fact may be desirale. Esp on a windy day, or a smaller field. Most ESTES kits used as 12" or 18" chute. There is nothing in between. A spill hole allows you to make the 18" chute more appropriate for smaller models.

A spill hole also keeps the rocket from swinging from side to side. This can be important on landing. Some larger fins or legs do not like sideways force but do just fine coming straight down.
