Retro-Reflective films/markings can help you recover lost rockets.
If you wait until dark, a sweep with a flashlight can make the rocket stand out against whatever is hiding it (e.g. grass, bushes, trees). It doesn't take much, and doesn't have to "stand out" when viewed in daylight. Retro-reflective materials come in a number of different colors, including (surprisingly) black (some reflects as a muted gold or white, depending on the product).
Sign shops can be good sources for cheap/free scraps.
While not an image of a rocket... This is my bicycle, and what it looks like when I'm passively being visible at night...
FYI: SBR's Fusion comes with some stock.
