I recently purchased a destroyed Estes Sandhawk. It was whole at the time of sale, but shipping was way too much, so I asked the seller to cut the body tube off the plastic parts. BT was damaged beyond repair. All I wanted was the plastic parts. It had old yellowed white paint and upper section was out of round and a lot of excess glue everywhere. It also had a blue tube for a motor tube. Complete rebuilt all the tubes and CRs . Added baffle and Kevlar and elastic shock cord. Came with a Estes 15“ nylon chute. All that needs done is add the green paint to the silver band. I’m happy with it! Wanted one since I was a kid.

Very Nice! I always liked that kit too, your route was probably way cheaper than what I paid for a vintage kit
