I am build a 2 stage rocket that uses a D12 1st stage and B6 for the upper stage. It uses rear ejection. My problem is that I have no centering rings for the piston device. Just try to figure out what material to use for them. I found some thin corregated cardboard. I have coated it with epoxy but it still bend if it is hit right. I have some 1/8 basswood. I did not want to add much weight to it. I think that the basswood will not add that much of weight to make a difference. Just pickin' your brains on what you think?

For centering rings, I would go to a store that sells matte material for framing pixtures. Makes great rings, easy to cut, light weight and strong
