Glide is short but it is very controllable and landable, it was an engineering feat to design something that was robust enough to land on the pods yet light enough to glide without dumping a balast module(keeping it simple). No, larger motors are not feasable because of the larger CG shift at this size model and the higher speeds stressing the foam wings and control surfaces. An E-20 will work, but won't get much more altitude and boost is very fast, Aerotech doesn't make a true E-15 any more they re-brand the E-20's that are now 36ns motors like this E-12RC... 42" long, 21" wingspan, 2.6" diameter.
