Hi,

I've come across a student team using a Raptor CO2 ejection system. I'm not familiar with them, as most (of us) seem to rely on a black powered charge to deploy drogues & mains..

Is this overkill for a 10K flight?

Weight concerns? Mounting issues? Reliable?

Any and all feed-back/ personal experiences with.. Or just a general thought is most welcome..

Depends on your goals for your flying. If you want clean ejection of the laundry and can afford the extra mass then it might be a good solution. If you are going for maximum altitude then energetics might be a better choice. It comes down to what your rocket is and what you want to get out of that, or future, flights based on that system.
