Somewhere in this mess and my mind is a quick change electronics bay 54mm to 98mm hosed in the nose cones. I've been using the PVC exterior trim for the nose cone end caps for a few years. I think I'm on to a quick change setup now.

I used this method for this year's crop of High School STEM rockets. It worked out well this year..and the sleds will be used in next years rockets too. Five 3" s4 rockets, 38mm DMS H motors, 2 flights for each rocket..' looking into the affects of various size spill holes.

One thing that I added/changed was the nose cone shock cord attachment. To a short 1.25" long piece of 3/4" Alum rod. I bought a bucket of these...with one end already threaded to 1/4-20 ar a local junkyard many years ago..drill and flare a hole for the shock cord and round the end..

how do you seal the charge wiring? I can't make it out in the pics.
Thanks
Wires ran through the bulkhead..counter sunk on the outside..(to stuff sealant into).
Sealers I use..heavy duty/sticky paper backed stuff. Duct sealer. Clay..not playdopl. Gum un a pinch. Picture frame stuff if I have to..its not very sticky.20230526_082517.jpg
