I bought one of these a while back and built it out the other night. Its a min diameter 3FNC deal that ought to fly like a home sick angel on a C. Tube is nice and sturdy, and this one has nice thick balsa fins. Built nice and clean; put the first coat of white on it tonight. Looks like a fun little rocket. Anyone else have one of these? How do they fly?

Nice job on the Sprint, and it'll look even better once the color is put on there!

I've had two, and the first one flew nicely. I only complaint about the kit would be the decals. The edges peel up after you place them on the rocket. I "laminated" the decals with clear scotch tape and clear coated the rocket. End of that problem.

The first did suffer a one inch long zipper after getting caught in a tree. I shorted the BT the length of the zipper and then it would absolutely scream on a B6. Another thing, in my experience, the Sprint flutters nicely on the stock streamer. My first Sprint had been caught in two different trees and eventually landed on top of a school building. So take special note of the wind when you launch it. :D

If the rocket is well built and well finished, it does not take much motor at all to trigger the 'stealth' mode (you will never see it again)

Wait until you have a really big field and lots of help to look for it, the old Estes Sprint design is a screamer
