Quest Magnum

Here is a photo of my Quest Magnum rocket on it's maiden flight. It flew great on a pair of Estes B6-4 motors. I am happy that there were no problems with my first cluster launch. I love all that fire!

What did you use for the Orange?
Rattle can or spray gun?

I used Rust Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Paint + Primer. It is available at Lowes and Amazon as well as other places. Some day I'll setup a spray booth in the garage.

Beautiful shot... The Magnum is one that I've thought about a few times but never picked up. I might need to change that.

The original version was a spare parts elimination vehicle (SPEV) that came with extra fins/parts but even without that little perk it’s a great kit - fun and a little different to build. If I didn’t have so many kits I’d like to build I’d get another MSL and make a single 24mm motor version just for the varietc!
