Does anyone know the diamater or size of the kevlar that Quest or Semroc uses in their kits? I'm looking to buy a roll to use on all my rockets.

I believe they use .025. I would go with .035.

as an alternate you might want to check out
Pratt Hobbies
Tubular Kevlar Microbraid.

I have been using this for the last year and have not had a failure yet.

After fiddling with various sizes of Kevlar for years, I have finally settled on 120 lb, .66 mm Kevlar from Aerospace Specialty Products. It works well with anything from BT-5 up through BT-60.
