For immediate release:

QUEST AEROSPACE, Inc., Pagosa Springs, Colorado

QUEST Announces new Micro Maxx engine.

Quest is now shipping the NAR certified MICRO MAXX “NE” - no ejection engine. This is the Micro Maxx II engine design in the gray paper casing. The ejection charge has been removed at the factory. This engine is only available on the Quest website, www.questaerospace.com. It is listed in the Micro Maxx section and is Prod. No. 5665.

It is available as a 6 pack with six MMXQ2 igniters included.

On behalf of Quest fans, and the rocketry community in general, let me be the first to say "thank-you".

Effectively, yes. It is a standard motor with a standard half second delay (more or less) but no ejection charge. Micro has already use prototypes to stage MMX rockets and says it works quite well. I understand that he has ordered new stock motors to verify that they are the same as what he tested.
