Simple questions:;

Will an Eggtimer quark trigger at apogee even if the apogee is only 75...120M (250...400ft)? - ie act like an Eggtimer Apogee?

I guess the main (second) channel wont fire if its set to 150M (500ft) and the apogee is lees than 150M?

My best knowledge is that is what it will do.
The Quark has an LDA (Launch Detect Altitude) of 200ft. This must be exceeded for the deployment outputs to Arm. The Apogee channel should then fire.

Do not know about second question. One possibility is the Main channel will fire at nearly the same time as Apogee since Alt is Under 500ft.

This can be tested in a Vacuum chamber.
Better is Cris pops in and answers.

The Quark arms at 200', with the jumpers you can set the Drogue to fire at apogee or apogee +1 second. The Main can fire at 300', 500', 800', or 1000'. The Apogee also requires a minimum of 200' to arm... if you're not going that high, you probably don't need electronic deployment.

Hi Cris,

Thanks for info - it's for a multistage 'Oddrock' concept I am looking at.

Good luck with your component supplies.
