Having never been to a big launch like this, I'm wondering of there is typically a long wait to launch or not. Usually I turn my tracker on at the truck and then head to rso to get it checked. If there's a long wait time I may quick wire up some switches for my tracker so I can turn it on when I load ut on the pad. Thanks!

Matt- From my experience It’s usually not that long of a wait at this launch but as anything can happen and we know that cooler weather depletes battery power.

Option *On at Pad* may be your best choice. If the past has any lessons it’s that NOT using the freshest batteries/full charge in any electronics or hastily wired connections during pad prep sometimes causes disastrous results.

Man, I’ve seen/heard a lot of stuff go into the ground due to dead batteries or failed wiring. Chased through fields ALL day tracking (with multiple other Trackers in the proximity of my frequency) only to find something the next day-

I tell people to eliminate as many links that can fail. Plan for the best, expect the worst situation and don’t be surprised if it’s found the next day being dry humped by a Coyote five miles away…

It’s all up to the Flier to prepare as they feel the most comfortable and especially the safest to them and others. Good luck on your flight(s).

Another Tripoli TAP people may want to consider is Lanie Cross from Iowa. He usually shows up and is a pretty quiet guy but a great person! Well that didn’t go so well- Woke up in an alleyway right around the corner from the Stadium. I learned NEVER jump on the stage…Taylor’s Security detail are bigger in person than they look and I’m missing my socks and boxer briefs. I’m thinking some Bum is rolling in a nice pair of Navy Jockeys with Saturday stenciled on them. Going to miss those Underoos.

What ever happened to the idea of making a slightly larger BOMARC Missile kit than what is currently available from out west? I had sooooo much fun jamming J Motors in my Madcow Bomarc until I utterly destroyed that little Critter!

Ive spent more money in there than Superfreak Rick James spent on Hookers and Blow-

Still have pieces of it on my desk to honor the Gods of Speed and Acceleration- It was the Demon of “Holy $&@?! It’s coming THIS WAY” that did it in…
