QCRC has teamed up with Wildman's for a July picnic/ launch at Wildman's place on July 11th and 12th.
Everybody is welcome to come over .It was originally set up to be a low-power launch ,however I have received a waiver for the homestead of 12K .
We are close to a town (LOL) so if the wind is dropping them in the wrong spot, I may lower the ceiling.
The corn is already over 7 feet tall so trackers are strongly suggested .
We are having a pot luck dinner on Saturday, so please bring a dish to pass and your own chairs and drinks.

Saturday's weather forecast looked a bit dodgy but all the predicted weather missed us. Many great flights.

Having the Featherweight GPS tracker was a must - twice I walked either past or *under* my rocket in the corn!! Without the GPS I'm sure I would have lost a minimum of one rocket.

Here's a photo of my LOC IRIS on the pad waiting to launch on an I180. I kept the altitude down to reduce the rows of corn to walk through :)
