Captured at 8FPS with my camera, guess I should use video.

Instead of high dollar kits, melted ping pong balls in Acetone, A little 4f BP, a little Mg, some Nichro wire, and some Cat5 leads.
These should be good for my singles, (this was a single dip) going to use copper thermite for my 3 6000ns cluster in my big Harpoon.

8FPS and 4 pics, did it burn for half a second or did you leave some pics out?

You might want to consider mixing ammonium nitrate with some charcoal instead of the 4f powder. Keep the Mg in the mix. The ammonium nitrate will burn a lot slower while the Mg keeps throwing out the burning sparks at 4,000+ F. Might not be as good for drag races, but might be more consistant lighting the hard to light motors. Mine have lit H-M without fail so far.
