PSII Nike smoke nose cone

I am going to chop the base off the nose cone and install a bulkhead and eyebolt - I know the PSII kits had some odd diameters. Looking at the discount rocketry 3" bulkhead. I am ok with sanding one that is too big but don't want to end up with it being too small lol and they don't mention exact dimensions.

The bulkheads advertised on Discount Rocketry appear be 'standard' LOC size. PSII is smaller than LOC, so you should be OK.
Balsa Machining sells Estes size bulkheads (bottom of the centering rings page).

Thanks, that's what I was thinking, but can never be too sure! I have emailed Discount to try and get confirmation on sizing.
