Prototype of the MX600 Launch Pad

I was hoping to launch today but to windy. I had to come with something for a 3/16 launch rod anyway. So heres what I put together from stuff around house. Simple put, I used a camera tripod with a removable base. I attached the base to a piece of 3/16 carbonsteel rod that I ran a thread on. For the blast deflector, I used the top off a Holiday Tin that popcorn came in. Seems to be sturdy enough. Design changes in progress-two piece rods, and a base that will take different rod sizes. I wanted to hook the wires to the Stormcaster real bad. Just to windy Scotty Dog

Use two piece rods and some velco and should be good to go.
