Propep 3 and Windows 11?

I'm not going to discuss specifics of propellants which is why this is in the Software forum instead of Research.

Tried to install Propep 3 and got a message that this requires "NET framework version 3.5". That wasn't needed with earlier Windows versions. Anyone have a clue as to why I need to install yet another MS piece of bloatware, just to install a program that installed and ran just fine under Win10 without that bloatware? Any way I can skip it?

Am increasingly...discontented...with the purchase of a new computer that uses Win11. Wish I could backtrack to Win10...

You don’t get very far without the .NET libraries. Something had probably installed them on your Win10 machine without you noticing.

I'd guess you already have .NET 4.8, but it's not backward compatible with v3.5.
